Jim, a pilot, returns from vacation with his family in their own plane when the FBI raids the airport and discovers millions of dollars worth of cocaine on board. Jim, who unknowingly transported the illegal cargo to support his family without engaging in the trade, agrees to cooperate with the FBI in order to catch the real source. Under FBI surveillance, Jim and his family continue their lives, while the designer of the iconic 70s car Pontiac GTO, John DeLorean, moves in next door. John, seeking investment for his passion project under his own name, manages to establish a factory to produce the DeLorean brand car but ends up in millions of dollars in debt. Jim, who works with the FBI to expose the drug cartel, comes up with a brilliant idea: involving John in this dirty business to uncover an even bigger scheme.
